Here are some upcoming events that you may want to add to your calendars.
This Friday April 8th is a pizza lunch. Please remember to still send in a morning snack for your child.
On Tuesday April 12 there will be a DEAR reading morning with 55plus and all parents are also welcome to join if you are able. We will set you up with a small group of children to read to. All reading materials will be provided but you are always welcome to bring a favourite from home if you wish.
Our school’s first Hobbies and Collectibles Fair will be held on the morning of Friday, April 15th. Our class will tour through the fair to see what other students, parents and members of our 55 Plus club have brought in to share. Two children in our class are bringing collections for the fair and we will look forward to seeing their contributions.
On Tuesday, April 19th, the grade one and two students will present the musical Ging Gong the Cat. This will be held in our gym at 12:30. Please join us for an enjoyable afternoon. Your children have been working hard on this presentation.
On Wednesday, April 20th, we will be dyeing Easter eggs. Please send to school, two hard-boiled eggs in a well padded container marked with your child’s name.
On Thursday, April 21st, many students from grade three, four and five will participate in a talent show. This will be lots of fun and we would love to have you come to watch.
Friday, April 22nd, is Good Friday.
Monday, April 25th, is Easter Monday.
On the morning of Wednesday, April 27th, our class photo will be taken.
On Friday, April 29th, the children will enjoy subs for lunch.
